A peaceful mountain retreat in Franklin, North Carolina

Nestled in the Smoky Mountains of western North Carolina, Rose Creek Campground is your relaxing escape into nature. Just minutes from downtown Franklin, our campground offers shady, full-hookup RV sites, cozy cabins, and quiet tent camping surrounded by trees, wildlife, and the gentle sounds of Rose Creek. Come enjoy the charm and serenity of the North Carolina high country!

Offsite Activities

Be sure to check out Wayah Bald Lookout Tower, a historical rock structure along the Appalachian trail that offers immaculate views of the Smoky Mountains. Less than a 5 minute walk from the car, a short climb up the tower and you’ll be looking at the most beautiful sunrise you’ve ever seen!

Macon County is also home to the world-renowned Appalachian Trail, boasting acres of sprawling nature-filled hiking paths, lakes, and rivers. Adventurers can take a break and rejuvenate in a variety of natural springs. In the surrounding area there is gem mining, tubing, kayaking, rafting, zip lining, hiking, waterfalls, train rides and so much more!
